Very very nice quiet electronic and acoustic collection of glitchy soundscapes. First, it was a book "The Hidden City, People and Places in Gothenburg"-And now, a CD with 15 sound portraits from the Swedish city, by artists that are featured in the book or have an interesting relationship with certain places or addresses in Gothenburg. Featuring new material from Christopher Brus (aka DJ/musicican Christoffer Berg), Alva Noto (Mille Plateaux, Raster Noton, etc), Mapstation (Stefan Schneider of To Rococo Rot), Johannes Helden, Christina Kubisch, Paul Bothén, Leif Elggren, Johannes Helden, Lars Carlsson, Sherif, Peter Hansen, Christina Kubisch, Daniel Skoglund/ 8tunnel2, DanFröberg, Paul Bauthén, Ànders Ilar, Henrik Rylander (ex-Union Carbide Productions, now in Audio Laboratory), Anna Eriksson....The record is a collage of the city, just like the book.
