Performed at the last Sonar Sound Festival of Rome on 2003, this work rises up from the collaboration between Mass (from the DSP recordings label) and Bianco-Valente, one of the most interesting Italian visual artists duo. In the DVD is reported a continuous journey, divided in six audio/video tracks, characterized by the use of vivid colours together with a wide range of audio frequencies producing enlarged sensorial stimuli. The use of randomness and computing errors create a warm flow of abstract data textures, that combined with minimal pulses and intense repetitions make of "Self Organizing Structures" an intimate work that investigates on one hand the error possibilities and on the other hand the emotional relations existing between frequencies and colors, intensity and luminosity.
